An entirely different model machine was recommended to better suit this company's production needs. A Grinding company contacted us with a need to increase production of shafts ranging in diameter from 1/4 to 1 in. and 1-1/2 to 3 1/2 in long. Allways Precision, Inc. recommended a different model machine to increase production. In order to reduce downtime for their existing manufacturing, Allways Precision, Inc. rebuilt two centerless grinders from our own machine inventory. Their old machines were traded-in after the new grinding line was complete and running parts.

We built a TurnKey Centerless Grinder System which included:

  • API Certified Model 340-20 Twin-Grip Cincinnati Centerless Grinder upgraded with a 100hp. Grinding Wheel Motor (for rough grinding)
  • Automatic 2 Way Compensation
  • Gaging System Integrated with Compensation System
  • Exit Conveyor
  • API Certified Model 220-8 Twin-Grip Cincinnati Centerless Grinder (for finish grinding)
  • Filtration System

  • 36 in. vibratory feeder bowl
  • Parts fed onto conveyor
  • Contact style gage (optional laser gaging)
  • Provides feedback to Compensation System
Conveyors (Entry & Exit) Two Way Compensation System
  • Belt driven 48 in. entry conveyor
